Starting as a needle manufacture in 1830 and then expanding the product range to precision parts for the clockmaking industry, Schumag has meanwhile grown to become a modern, innovative production company, the high-precision products of which are used in automobile manufacturing, medical technology and other sectors.

Schumag developed its own machines and equipment that met and exceeded the high quality requirements. This was the starting signal for the present-day machinery segment, which for decades has successfully defended its position as market leader in this branch of industry.
